'We have no answers': Family of Sask. missing Ashley Morin marks 6th anniversary of her disappearance

The family of Ashley Morin, a young woman who went missing from her home in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, is marking the sixth anniversary of her disappearance with heavy hearts and no answers.

Morin, who was 31 years old at the time, was last seen on July 10, 2015, leaving her home in the early hours of the morning. Despite extensive searches and ongoing investigations, there has been no trace of her since.

Her family, who have been tirelessly searching for answers and justice, are still struggling to come to terms with her disappearance. “It’s been six years of not knowing where she is or what happened to her,” said Delores Stevenson, Morin’s aunt. “It’s been a long, hard road for our family.”

The pain and anguish of not knowing Morin’s whereabouts has taken a toll on her loved ones. “It’s been really hard on all of us,” said Stevenson. “We just want to know what happened to her. We want to bring her home.”

The family is also frustrated with the lack of progress in the investigation. “We have no answers,” said Stevenson. “We feel like we’ve been let down by the system.”

Despite the challenges, the family remains determined to find Morin and bring her home. They continue to hold vigils and raise awareness about her case, hoping that someone will come forward with information that could lead to her whereabouts.

The RCMP is still actively investigating Morin’s disappearance and is asking anyone with information to come forward. “We are committed to finding Ashley and bringing closure to her family,” said Sgt. Jason Teniuk of the North Battleford RCMP.

As the sixth anniversary of her disappearance passes, Morin’s family is holding on to hope and pleading for anyone with information to come forward. “We just want to know what happened to her,” said Stevenson. “We won’t stop until we find her.”
