Vaughan man kidnapped located, suspects still at large: police

A man from Vaughan, Ontario has been found after being kidnapped, but the suspects responsible are still on the loose, according to police.

The incident occurred on Monday evening, when the victim was taken against his will from a residence in the area of Jane Street and Rutherford Road. The suspects, who have not been identified, fled the scene in a vehicle.

After receiving a report of the kidnapping, York Regional Police launched an investigation and issued a public appeal for information. The victim’s family also made a plea for his safe return.

Fortunately, the victim was located on Tuesday morning in the area of Highway 400 and Highway 7. He was found unharmed and has since been reunited with his family.

However, the suspects involved in the kidnapping have yet to be apprehended. Police are continuing their search and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

At this time, the motive for the kidnapping is still unknown and police have not released any further details about the suspects or their vehicle.
