1 suspect arrested, 2 outstanding following robbery at Cloverdale Mall

One suspect has been arrested and two others remain at large following a robbery at Cloverdale Mall in Toronto.

According to police, the incident occurred on Monday evening when three individuals entered a store in the mall and began stealing items. When confronted by store employees, one of the suspects allegedly brandished a weapon and threatened them before all three fled the scene.

Police were immediately called and arrived at the mall to investigate. They were able to apprehend one of the suspects, a 25-year-old man, who is now facing charges of robbery and possession of a weapon.

The two other suspects, described as men in their 20s, are still at large and police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating them. They have released surveillance footage of the suspects and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident and the stolen items were recovered by police.

This is not the first time Cloverdale Mall has been targeted by thieves. In December, a similar incident occurred where a group of individuals stole items from a store and fled the scene. Police are investigating whether there is a connection between the two incidents.

The mall has released a statement assuring customers that they are working closely with police to ensure the safety and security of their patrons. They have also increased security measures in response to the recent incidents.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the whereabouts of the two outstanding suspects is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
