The male has been located deceased. No foul play is suspected. Out of respect for the next of kin, no further details will be released.

Update 1 – January 14, 2024 – CRITICAL MISSING PERSON
Detectives with 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) are continuing to search for missing person David Den Bak. Due to the weather conditions the investigation has upgraded to critical.
Detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating David. Detectives are asking anyone who may have been in the area with dash cam footage or anyone who may live in the area and have video footage to review their video on January 12, 2024, between the hours of 9:30pm and 11:59pm.
Detectives are also asking the public if they live in the area to check their surrounding property.
David is believed to be carrying a box that has 3 bottles of wine inside.
The police and David’s family are concerned for his welfare.

Officers from 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara on the Lake) of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are searching for missing person David Den Bak.
David was last seen on January 12, 2024, at 9:48pm, in the area of Mary Street near Mississagua Street in Niagara-on-the-Lake. His means of travel is by foot.
David is described as
White male Approximately 190lbs – medium build 5’11 Grey hair Wearing a navy blue coat, black slip on boots and black pants
