Calgary Police Stop Erratic Vehicle Driving with its Hood Up
Calgary police were quick to respond to a report of an erratic vehicle driving with its hood up on Tuesday afternoon.
According to witnesses, the vehicle was seen driving erratically on Deerfoot Trail, with its hood up and blocking the driver’s view. Concerned citizens immediately called the police, who were able to locate and stop the vehicle near the intersection of 16 Avenue and 36 Street NE.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the driver was experiencing mechanical issues with their vehicle, which caused the hood to pop up while they were driving. The driver was unable to safely pull over and was attempting to make their way to a nearby mechanic.
