Josh Classen's forecast: Sunny end to a wet week

The Edmonton area can expect a sunny end to a wet week, according to meteorologist Josh Classen’s forecast.

After several days of rain, Classen predicts that the sun will make a welcome appearance on Friday. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 12 degrees Celsius, with a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day.

Saturday is also looking promising, with a high of 14 degrees Celsius and mainly sunny skies. However, Classen warns that there is a chance of some scattered showers in the afternoon.

Sunday will see a slight dip in temperatures, with a high of 10 degrees Celsius, but the sun will continue to shine. The week ahead is also looking relatively dry, with only a slight chance of showers on Monday and Tuesday.

Classen also notes that the recent rain has helped to alleviate the dry conditions in the area, with the city now sitting at a normal level for this time of year.

As always, Classen reminds residents to stay up to date with the latest weather forecasts and to be prepared for any changes in the weather.
