A man was brutally stabbed multiple times following a dispute in Toronto, according to the Toronto Police Service (TPS).
The incident occurred on Sunday evening in the area of Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue. TPS responded to a call about a fight between two men around 8:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found a man in his 30s with multiple stab wounds. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
According to TPS, the victim and the suspect were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated into a physical fight. The suspect then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described as a man in his 20s, approximately 5’10” with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and dark pants.
TPS is currently investigating the incident and is asking anyone with information to come forward. They are also reviewing surveillance footage from the area to gather more evidence.
