A man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with a homicide that occurred in 2023, according to Winnipeg police.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was found deceased in a residence in the 500 block of Main Street on January 15, 2023.
After a thorough investigation, police have arrested and charged 27-year-old John Smith with first-degree murder.
Smith is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
