Alberta RCMP have successfully recovered 355 pounds of stolen wire, thanks to their diligent efforts and collaboration with local businesses.

The investigation began when a business in the town of Blackfalds reported a significant amount of wire missing from their property. The wire, valued at approximately $10,000, was believed to have been stolen over a period of several months.

RCMP officers immediately launched an investigation and were able to identify a suspect. With the assistance of local businesses, they were able to track down the stolen wire and recover it.

“This is a great example of the strong partnership between the RCMP and our community,” said Sergeant Barry Larocque of the Blackfalds RCMP. “Thanks to the cooperation of local businesses, we were able to quickly locate and recover the stolen property.”

The recovered wire has been returned to its rightful owner and the suspect is facing charges of theft and possession of stolen property.

The RCMP would like to remind the public to report any suspicious activity to their local police detachment. They also urge businesses to take precautions to secure their property and to keep an inventory of valuable items.

This successful recovery is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Alberta RCMP in keeping our communities safe. Their swift action and collaboration with local businesses have resulted in the return of stolen property and the apprehension of a suspect.
