A pedestrian is currently in the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Brampton, according to police.
The incident occurred on Monday evening at the intersection of Queen Street East and Kennedy Road. The pedestrian, whose identity has not been released, was struck by a vehicle and suffered serious injuries.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. It is unclear at this time if any charges will be laid.
