Three people injured in serious crash on Markham highway

Three individuals were injured in a serious crash on a highway in Markham, according to local authorities.

The incident occurred on Highway 7 near Warden Avenue on Tuesday evening. Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 7:30 p.m.

According to police, a vehicle traveling eastbound on Highway 7 collided with another vehicle that was attempting to make a left turn onto Warden Avenue. The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles to roll over.

Three individuals were injured in the collision and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their current conditions are unknown at this time.

The eastbound lanes of Highway 7 were closed for several hours as police investigated the scene and cleared the wreckage. The road has since been reopened to traffic.
