The incident occurred on Monday, June 14, when the man, who has not been identified, entered the hospital and stabbed a patient multiple times before being confronted by a security guard. The guard was also stabbed during the altercation.
The suspect was quickly apprehended by police and taken into custody. He has since been charged with two counts of attempted murder and is currently being held in custody.
