Gatineau Police Investigate Hit-and-Run Incident Involving Injured Teen, Seek Public Assistance
The Gatineau Police are currently investigating a hit-and-run incident that left a teenage victim injured. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening at around 8:30 pm on Boulevard des Allumettières near the intersection of Boulevard Saint-Joseph.
According to witnesses, the victim, a 17-year-old male, was crossing the street when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle did not stop and fled the scene, leaving the victim with serious injuries. The victim was immediately transported to the hospital where he is currently receiving medical treatment.
