Tragedy struck in Strathroy as a 30-year-old resident lost their life in a two-vehicle collision.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Adelaide Road and Metcalfe Street. The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service and Middlesex-London Paramedic Services responded to the scene.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The intersection was closed for several hours as police conducted their investigation. The cause of the collision is still under investigation and no charges have been laid at this time.
