Friday night all-terrain vehicle crash kills 24-year-old New Brunswick man

A tragic accident on Friday night has claimed the life of a 24-year-old man from New Brunswick. The victim, whose name has not been released, was riding an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) when the crash occurred.

According to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), the incident took place around 9:30 p.m. on a rural road in the community of Saint-Quentin. The ATV was the only vehicle involved in the crash.

Emergency services were immediately called to the scene, but unfortunately, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The RCMP is currently investigating the cause of the crash, but it is believed that speed may have been a factor.

The victim’s family has been notified and is understandably devastated by the loss of their loved one. The community of Saint-Quentin is also in shock and mourning the loss of a young member of their community.

This tragic incident serves as a reminder of the importance of safe and responsible ATV use. The RCMP is urging all ATV riders to follow safety guidelines and to always wear a helmet while operating their vehicles.

The RCMP is also reminding the public that ATV use is prohibited on public roads in New Brunswick, unless the vehicle is registered and insured for road use. Off-road trails and designated areas are the only places where ATV use is permitted.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to the family and friends of the victim during this difficult time. The RCMP is continuing their investigation and will provide updates as they become available.
