Emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash at the intersection of Leathead Road and Hein Road in Kelowna on Tuesday afternoon.
According to witnesses, the collision involved two vehicles and occurred around 2:30 p.m. One of the vehicles appeared to have sustained significant damage to its front end.
The Kelowna Fire Department, BC Ambulance Service, and RCMP all responded to the scene. The extent of any injuries is currently unknown.
Traffic in the area was impacted as emergency crews worked to clear the scene. Motorists were advised to avoid the area if possible.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. It is unclear at this time if any charges will be laid.
