The Chickadee Room’s Negroni Passport is back and ready to take you on a journey around the world through the iconic Italian cocktail. From September 22nd to 28th, sip your way through different variations of the Negroni at participating bars and restaurants in Vancouver.
The Negroni Passport is a collaboration between the Chickadee Room and Campari, the classic Italian aperitif used in the Negroni. This year, the passport features 10 different versions of the cocktail, each with its own unique twist and story.
Starting off in Vancouver, the passport will take you to Italy with the classic Negroni at Savio Volpe, a popular Italian restaurant known for its authentic cuisine. From there, you can travel to Japan with the Sakura Negroni at Kissa Tanto, a fusion of Japanese and Italian flavors.
Other stops on the passport include the Mediterranean-inspired Negroni at Osteria Savio Volpe, the tropical Negroni at The Shameful Tiki Room, and the smoky Mezcal Negroni at La Mezcaleria.
But the journey doesn’t stop there. The passport also includes stops in Toronto, Montreal, and even New York City, showcasing the global reach and popularity of the Negroni.
Not only does the passport offer a chance to taste different variations of the Negroni, but it also supports local businesses and the hospitality industry, which has been greatly impacted by the pandemic.
To participate, simply purchase a passport for $30 and present it at any of the participating locations to receive a featured Negroni. You can also collect stamps for each Negroni you try, with a chance to win a grand prize at the end of the week.
So grab your passport and get ready to embark on a delicious and exciting journey around the world with the Chickadee Room’s Negroni Passport. Cheers to the Negroni and the global community that enjoys it!
