The Brantford Bulldogs dominated the Erie Otters in a thrilling 8-4 victory on Saturday night at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre.
The Bulldogs came out strong in the first period, with forward Jack Hughes scoring the first goal just 2 minutes into the game. The Otters quickly responded with a goal of their own, but the Bulldogs maintained their momentum and ended the period with a 3-1 lead.
In the second period, the Bulldogs continued to dominate, with goals from forwards Alex Turcotte and Trevor Zegras. The Otters tried to fight back, but the Bulldogs’ defense held strong, allowing only one goal in the period.
The third period saw the Bulldogs extend their lead even further, with goals from Hughes, Turcotte, and defenseman Bowen Byram. The Otters managed to score two more goals, but it was not enough to overcome the Bulldogs’ commanding lead.
