A pedestrian was struck by a North Bay Transit bus, according to a report from the local police service.
The incident occurred on Wednesday evening at the intersection of Main Street East and Fisher Street. The pedestrian, whose identity has not been released, was crossing the street when they were hit by the bus.
Emergency services were immediately called to the scene and the pedestrian was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the bus remained at the scene and is cooperating with the police investigation.
