The Voodoos’ winning streak has also been fueled by their strong defense, with players like captain David Campbell and defenseman Cameron Moore leading the charge. The team has only allowed 24 goals against in their 16 games this season, making them one of the top defensive teams in the league.
Despite their impressive record, the Voodoos are not getting complacent. “We know that every game is a new challenge and we have to continue to work hard and stay focused,” says Gavin. “Our goal is to keep this momentum going and make a run for the NOJHL championship.”
The Voodoos will look to extend their winning streak as they take on the French River Rapids on Sunday afternoon. With their strong performance and determination, it’s clear that the Powassan Voodoos are a force to be reckoned with in the NOJHL.
