Real True News

A tragic incident occurred in the early hours of Monday morning, as a fire broke out in a residential building in the Bronx, New York. The blaze, which started around 5:30 am, quickly spread throughout the building, leaving one person dead and several others injured.

According to authorities, the fire started on the first floor of the building, located on East 179th Street and Grand Concourse. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it is believed to have been accidental.

Firefighters arrived at the scene within minutes and were able to contain the fire, preventing it from spreading to neighboring buildings. However, the damage to the building was extensive, with several apartments completely destroyed.

Tragically, one person was found dead inside the building. The victim has been identified as a 45-year-old man, but his name has not been released pending notification of his family. Several others were injured in the fire, including a 10-year-old boy who suffered from smoke inhalation and is currently in critical condition.

The Red Cross is providing assistance to the residents who have been displaced by the fire. They are currently working with local authorities to determine the number of people affected and to provide them with temporary housing and other necessities.

This is not the first time this building has experienced a fire. In 2017, a fire broke out in the same building, leaving one person dead and several others injured. The cause of that fire was also determined to be accidental.

As the investigation into this latest fire continues, authorities are reminding residents to always have working smoke detectors in their homes and to have an evacuation plan in case of emergencies. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families during this difficult time.
