North Bay’s Santa Fund celebrated another successful morning at Twiggs, as the community came together to spread holiday cheer and support those in need.
The annual event, which has been a tradition for over 30 years, saw a large turnout of generous individuals who donated toys, clothing, and monetary contributions to the cause.
Organized by the North Bay Nugget and the North Bay Santa Fund Committee, the event was held at Twiggs Coffee Roasters on Main Street. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and joy as volunteers and donors mingled and shared stories of the holiday season.
The Santa Fund, which aims to provide gifts and necessities to families and individuals in need during the holiday season, has been a lifeline for many in the community. With the help of generous donations, the fund is able to make a significant impact on the lives of those who are struggling.
According to the Santa Fund Committee, this year’s event was a huge success, with over $10,000 raised in monetary donations alone. In addition, hundreds of toys and clothing items were collected, ensuring that every child in need will have a gift to open on Christmas morning.
The event also featured a special appearance by Santa Claus himself, who took time out of his busy schedule to spread joy and cheer to the children in attendance. Many families were able to take photos with Santa and create lasting memories.
The success of the Santa Fund would not have been possible without the support and generosity of the North Bay community. The organizers and volunteers extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the cause.
As the holiday season approaches, let us remember the true spirit of giving and continue to support those in need. The Santa Fund will continue to accept donations until December 20th, and all contributions will go towards making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
In the words of the Santa Fund Committee, “Together, we can make this holiday season a little brighter for everyone in our community.”
