Jesy Nelson says her twin babies may never walk after heartbreaking diagnosis

Jesy Nelson, former member of the popular girl group Little Mix, has recently shared some exciting news with her fans. The singer announced that she is expecting twin babies with her partner, actor Sean Sagar.

Nelson took to Instagram to share the news, posting a photo of her growing baby bump with the caption, “I’ve been keeping something so special to myself and I’m so excited to finally share with you all. I’m going to be a mummy to not one, but two little babies!”

The news comes as a surprise to many, as Nelson had previously opened up about her struggles with fertility and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). In an interview with The Guardian last year, she revealed that she had been told she would struggle to conceive naturally.

However, Nelson’s announcement also shed light on a more serious matter. In her post, she shared that one of her babies has been diagnosed with a rare and potentially life-threatening condition called gastroschisis.

Gastroschisis is a birth defect where the baby’s intestines develop outside of the body, through a hole in the abdominal wall. It affects about 1 in every 3,000 babies born in the United States. While the cause of this condition is still unknown, it is not believed to be hereditary.

Nelson expressed her gratitude for the support and love she has received from her fans and asked for privacy during this time. She also shared that she and her partner are remaining positive and hopeful for the health of their babies.

The singer’s announcement has sparked an outpouring of love and well-wishes from fans and fellow celebrities, including her former bandmates from Little Mix.

Nelson’s decision to share her news and her baby’s diagnosis has also brought attention to the importance of raising awareness about rare conditions and the struggles that many women face when trying to conceive.

We wish Jesy Nelson and her growing family all the best and hope for a safe and healthy pregnancy.
