Pawtucket, Rhode Island – A shooting at an ice rink in Pawtucket, Rhode Island has left three people injured on Saturday evening.
According to the Pawtucket Police Department, the incident occurred at the Thayer Arena around 11:30 p.m. local time. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and seeing people running out of the arena in a state of panic.
Upon arrival, officers found three victims with gunshot wounds. They were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.
The police have not yet released any information about the suspect or suspects involved in the shooting. They are currently investigating the incident and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
The Thayer Arena was hosting a youth hockey game at the time of the shooting. It is unclear if the victims were players or spectators.
