The Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC) Ontario is gearing up to host their first annual “Sip into Fall” event on October 3, 2024. This exciting event will bring together members of the insurance industry to raise funds for cancer research and support those affected by the disease.
WICC Ontario is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1996 with the goal of uniting the insurance industry in the fight against cancer. Since its inception, WICC has raised over $17 million for cancer research and support programs across Canada.
The “Sip into Fall” event will take place at the beautiful and historic Distillery District in Toronto. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a variety of wines, beers, and spirits from local vendors, while also enjoying delicious food and live entertainment.
In addition to the tastings, there will also be a silent auction with amazing prizes donated by generous sponsors. All proceeds from the event will go towards WICC’s mission of supporting cancer research and providing financial assistance to those affected by the disease.
WICC Ontario is excited to bring the insurance community together for a fun and meaningful evening. “We are thrilled to host our first annual ‘Sip into Fall’ event and we hope to see a great turnout from our industry colleagues,” says WICC Ontario Chair, Jane Smith. “Not only will it be a great opportunity to network and socialize, but it’s also a chance to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.”
Tickets for the event are now available for purchase on the WICC Ontario website. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to support a great cause and have a great time with your industry peers. Let’s raise a glass and sip into fall while making a positive impact in the fight against cancer.
