York Regional Police (YRP) are currently seeking witnesses after a fatal collision in King, Ontario.
According to YRP, the incident occurred on Sunday evening at around 7:30 p.m. on King Road, just east of Dufferin Street. A 35-year-old man was driving a motorcycle when he collided with a pickup truck.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
YRP’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident and is asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any information to come forward.
In a statement, YRP Const. Laura Nicolle said, “We are urging anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the collision to please come forward and speak with our investigators. Any information, no matter how small, could be crucial in helping us piece together what happened.”
King Road was closed for several hours as police investigated the scene, but has since reopened.
