Four individuals have been arrested by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) after a man was injured in a shooting in Prince George, British Columbia.
According to the RCMP, the incident occurred on Sunday evening in the 2200 block of Quince Street. The victim, a man in his 30s, was found with gunshot wounds and was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. His current condition is unknown.
The RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit took over the investigation and identified four suspects in connection with the shooting. They were arrested on Monday and are currently in police custody.
The suspects have been identified as 25-year-old Michael Joseph Gauthier, 26-year-old Kaitlyn Marie Pilkington, 27-year-old Christopher James Pritchard, and 28-year-old Tyler Aaron Gelowitz. They are facing charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The RCMP has not released any information on the motive behind the shooting or the relationship between the victim and the suspects.
