Chatham tennis players have once again proven their skills on the court, bringing home gold medals from the Canada 55+ Summer Games.
The games, held in Saint John, New Brunswick, saw Chatham’s own tennis players dominate the competition and secure the top spot in their respective categories.
In the women’s singles event, Chatham’s own Linda Jones took home the gold medal, showcasing her impressive talent and determination. Jones, who has been playing tennis for over 30 years, showed no signs of slowing down as she defeated her opponents with ease.
Not to be outdone, the men’s doubles team of John Smith and David Brown also brought home a gold medal for Chatham. The duo, who have been playing together for years, displayed their strong chemistry and teamwork on the court, ultimately leading them to victory.
