The Hamilton-Niagara Chapter of the Insurance Institute of Ontario (IIO) recently hosted their annual “Feed the Minds of Youth” luncheon, bringing together industry professionals and local students for a day of learning and networking.
The event, held at the Hamilton Convention Centre, aimed to educate and inspire the next generation of insurance professionals by providing them with valuable insights and knowledge from experienced leaders in the field.
Attendees were welcomed by IIO Hamilton-Niagara Chapter President, John Smith, who emphasized the importance of investing in the future of the insurance industry. “It is crucial that we continue to support and mentor young individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in insurance,” said Smith.
The luncheon featured a panel discussion with industry experts, including representatives from leading insurance companies and brokerage firms. In addition to providing valuable insights, the luncheon also raised funds for the IIO Hamilton-Niagara Chapter’s scholarship program, which supports students pursuing a career in insurance.
