Two individuals have been arrested and one remains at large after a man was fatally stabbed in North Scarborough on Monday evening.
According to Toronto police, officers responded to a call for a stabbing at a residence on Canmore Boulevard, near Victoria Park Avenue and Finch Avenue East, at around 6:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, they found a man in his 30s with serious stab wounds. He was rushed to a trauma centre where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Two suspects were taken into custody at the scene and have been charged with second-degree murder. They have been identified as 25-year-old John Doe and 27-year-old Jane Doe. Their relationship to the victim is currently unknown.
Police are still searching for a third suspect, 29-year-old Jack Doe, who is believed to have fled the scene on foot. He is described as 5’10” with a medium build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
Investigators are urging anyone with information on Jack Doe’s whereabouts to come forward.
The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
