Toronto police have announced that the outstanding suspect in a deadly stabbing has turned himself in. The incident, which occurred on December 19th, left one man dead and another injured.
According to police, the suspect, 25-year-old John Smith, surrendered himself at a downtown police station on Monday evening. He has been charged with second-degree murder and attempted murder in connection with the stabbing.
The incident took place in the early hours of December 19th, near the intersection of Yonge and Dundas streets. Police were called to the scene around 2:30 a.m. and found two men with stab wounds.
