A driver crashed into a house in Toronto’s west end on Monday evening, causing significant damage to the property. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
According to Toronto police, the driver lost control of their vehicle and crashed into the front of a house on Jane Street near Alliance Avenue around 6:30 p.m. The impact of the crash caused significant damage to the front porch and entrance of the house.
Witnesses at the scene reported hearing a loud bang and seeing the car partially inside the house. The driver, who has not been identified, was able to exit the vehicle on their own and did not sustain any injuries.
The homeowners were inside the house at the time of the crash but were not injured. They were able to safely evacuate the property and are now working with their insurance company to assess the damage.
