Three individuals in Olds, Alberta are facing charges related to drugs and firearms, according to the local RCMP.
The investigation began on February 19, when Olds RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in the town. During the search, officers seized a significant amount of drugs, including methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl, as well as multiple firearms and ammunition.
As a result of the investigation, three individuals have been charged with various offences. 33-year-old Christopher James McLean has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and possession of a prohibited firearm. 33-year-old Kaitlyn Marie McLean has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a prohibited firearm. And 31-year-old Michael James McLean has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and possession of a prohibited firearm.
All three individuals have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court on April 6.
