In a move that is set to shake up the insurance industry in Ontario, BrokerLink has announced its acquisition of three independent brokerages in the province.
The three brokerages, which are located in different regions of Ontario, are: Mink Insurance Services Ltd. in the Greater Toronto Area, Dusome Insurance Group Inc. in the Ottawa Valley, and J.G. Rivet Insurance Brokers Ltd. in Northern Ontario.
According to BrokerLink’s president, Joe D’Annunzio, these acquisitions are part of the company’s strategic growth plan to expand its presence in Ontario and provide more options for clients.

Mink Insurance Services Ltd., which has been in business for over 60 years, will bring its team of experienced brokers and strong relationships with insurers to BrokerLink. The brokerage’s president, John Mink, expressed his confidence in the acquisition, stating that it will allow the company to continue to grow and provide even better service to its clients.
Similarly, Dusome Insurance Group Inc., which has been serving the Ottawa Valley for over 40 years, will now have access to BrokerLink’s resources and technology, allowing them to enhance their offerings and better serve their clients.
J.G. Rivet Insurance Brokers Ltd., which has been in operation for over 100 years, will also benefit from BrokerLink’s support and expertise. The brokerage’s president, Jean-Guy Rivet, stated that the acquisition will allow them to continue to provide personalized service to their clients while also having access to a wider range of insurance products.
These acquisitions are expected to be completed by the end of 2021, pending regulatory approval. BrokerLink has assured that there will be no changes to the current operations of the three brokerages and that their clients will continue to receive the same level of service.
With these acquisitions, BrokerLink is solidifying its position as one of the largest and most trusted insurance brokerages in Ontario. As the company continues to grow, it remains committed to providing personalized service and tailored insurance solutions to its clients.
