An SUV crashed through two townhomes in Northeast Edmonton on Sunday morning, causing significant damage to the properties.

Thankfully, no one was inside the townhomes at the time of the crash. However, the driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The homeowners of the affected townhomes were shocked and devastated by the incident. One resident, who did not want to be named, described the sound of the crash as “like an explosion.”
