A tragic motorcycle crash in Kawartha Lakes has claimed the life of a 73-year-old man.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Saturday afternoon on Highway 35 near the intersection of Highway 121. The man, who has not been identified, was riding his motorcycle when he lost control and crashed into a ditch.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist with their investigation.
