Kingston Police Investigating Purse Snatching at Local Park
Kingston Police are currently investigating a purse snatching incident that occurred at a local park on Tuesday afternoon.
According to authorities, the incident took place at approximately 2:30 pm at the park located on Johnson Street. The victim, a 45-year-old woman, reported that she was walking through the park when an unknown individual approached her from behind and forcefully grabbed her purse.
The suspect then fled the scene on foot, leaving the victim shaken but unharmed. The victim immediately contacted the police and provided a description of the suspect.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male in his late 20s, approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, dark pants, and a baseball cap.
Kingston Police are urging anyone with information about this incident to come forward and assist with their investigation. They are also reminding the public to be vigilant and aware of their surroundings, especially when walking alone.
