Wanted man, teens arrested after string of bear spray incidents around Saskatoon

A wanted man and two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a series of bear spray incidents that have been causing concern in the city of Saskatoon.

According to police, the incidents occurred over the past few weeks and involved the use of bear spray on unsuspecting victims. The suspects, who were identified as a 25-year-old man and two 17-year-old boys, were taken into custody on Wednesday.

The first incident took place on February 22, when a 19-year-old man was sprayed with bear spray while walking in the 100 block of Avenue P South. The victim was able to provide a description of the suspects to the police, which led to their identification.

On March 1, a 17-year-old boy was sprayed with bear spray while walking in the 200 block of Avenue P South. The victim was able to escape and call the police, who were able to locate and arrest the suspects.

The most recent incident occurred on March 3, when a 20-year-old man was sprayed with bear spray while walking in the 100 block of Avenue P South. The victim was able to provide a description of the suspects, which led to their arrest.

All three suspects have been charged with multiple counts of assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. The 25-year-old man was also wanted on outstanding warrants for unrelated offences.

Police are reminding the public to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity to the authorities. They are also urging anyone who may have been a victim of a bear spray incident to come forward and report it.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers. The suspects are scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
