Police investigate southeast Calgary stabbing

Police are currently investigating a stabbing that occurred in the southeast area of Calgary on Monday evening.

According to authorities, the incident took place at around 7:30 p.m. in the 200 block of 52 Street S.E. Emergency services were called to the scene and found a man suffering from stab wounds.

The victim was immediately transported to hospital in serious condition. His current condition is unknown.

Police have not released any information about the suspect or a possible motive for the attack. However, they have confirmed that the victim and suspect are known to each other.

The area where the stabbing took place was cordoned off as police conducted their investigation. Residents in the area were advised to avoid the scene and to expect delays in the area.

At this time, no arrests have been made and police are appealing to the public for any information that may assist in their investigation.
