Saskatchewan RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying human remains that were discovered near Moose Jaw.
According to authorities, the remains were found on April 10th in a rural area south of Moose Jaw. The RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Section are currently investigating the case.
The identity of the individual and the cause of death are still unknown at this time. The RCMP is asking anyone with information about the remains or any suspicious activity in the area to come forward.
“We are urging anyone who may have seen or heard anything out of the ordinary in the area to contact us,” said Sgt. Ryan Case of the RCMP Major Crimes Unit. “Even the smallest piece of information could be crucial in helping us identify the individual and bring closure to their loved ones.”
The RCMP is also working with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service to determine the cause of death and gather any additional information.
