Edmonton police are on the hunt for a suspect in connection with a major drug bust that resulted in the seizure of over $900,000 worth of illegal substances.

According to authorities, the bust took place on April 28th, when members of the Edmonton Police Service’s Drug and Gang Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of 118 Avenue and 95 Street.

During the search, officers discovered a large quantity of drugs, including 1.5 kilograms of cocaine, 1.5 kilograms of methamphetamine, and 1.5 kilograms of fentanyl. The estimated street value of these drugs is over $900,000.

In addition to the drugs, police also seized a loaded handgun, ammunition, and over $50,000 in cash.

One suspect, 33-year-old Christopher Michael McLeod, has been arrested and charged with multiple drug and weapons-related offenses. However, police are still searching for a second suspect, 33-year-old Christopher Ryan McLeod, who is believed to be connected to the drug operation.
