According to authorities, the incident took place around 8:30 p.m. in the area of Park Street North and Brock Street. The victim, a 35-year-old woman, was found with a gunshot wound and was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment. Her current condition is unknown.
Police have confirmed that the shooting was not a random act and that the victim was specifically targeted. The suspect is described as a male, approximately 6 feet tall, with a medium build and was last seen wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants. He was seen fleeing the scene on foot.
