North Bay, ON – The Powassan Voodoos are proud to announce that forward, Cade Herd, has signed a professional deal with the English Hockey League (EHL).
Herd, a native of North Bay, has been a key player for the Voodoos since joining the team in 2018. In his three seasons with the team, he has tallied 45 goals and 50 assists in 144 games.
The 20-year-old forward’s hard work and dedication have paid off as he now has the opportunity to play at the professional level in the EHL. The league, which is based in the United Kingdom, is known for its high level of competition and has produced many successful players who have gone on to play in the National Hockey League (NHL).
