Police in Kamloops, British Columbia are currently investigating a series of targeted shootings that have occurred in the city. According to authorities, there have been at least four shootings in the past week, all of which appear to be connected.

The first shooting took place on March 26th, when a man was shot in the leg while sitting in his vehicle. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Two days later, on March 28th, another man was shot in the leg while walking in the downtown area. He was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The third shooting occurred on March 30th, when a man was shot in the arm while sitting in his vehicle. He was able to drive himself to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. The most recent shooting happened on April 1st, when a man was shot in the leg while walking in the North Shore area. He was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

All of the victims have been cooperating with the police and have provided descriptions of the suspects. The suspects are described as two men in their 20s, both wearing dark clothing and driving a dark-colored SUV. Police believe that the suspects are specifically targeting these individuals and that the shootings are not random acts of violence.

The Kamloops RCMP Serious Crime Unit is leading the investigation and is asking anyone with information to come forward. They are also urging the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.

In a statement, Staff Sgt. Simon Pillay said, “These targeted shootings are extremely concerning and we are taking them very seriously. We are working diligently to identify and apprehend the suspects responsible for these crimes.”

The police are also reminding the public to take precautions and be aware of their surroundings, especially in the areas where the shootings have occurred. They are also asking anyone with surveillance footage in these areas to review it and contact the police if they see anything suspicious.
