A suspect has been arrested in connection with a homicide that occurred in April 2022, according to Winnipeg police. Authorities are also seeking the public’s help in locating two other individuals believed to be involved in the incident.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was found deceased in a residence on April 15, 2022. The cause of death has not been disclosed by police.
After an extensive investigation, the Winnipeg Police Service’s Homicide Unit identified a suspect and made an arrest on July 12, 2022. The individual, whose name has not been released, is facing charges of second-degree murder.
However, police are still searching for two other individuals who are believed to have been involved in the homicide. The first is 25-year-old John Doe, who is described as 6’0″ tall with a medium build and short black hair. The second is 28-year-old Jane Doe, who is described as 5’5″ tall with a slim build and long brown hair.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of these two individuals to come forward and contact the Homicide Unit at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
The Winnipeg Police Service is also reminding the public that any information, no matter how small, could be crucial in solving this case and bringing closure to the victim’s family and loved ones.
