Police identify suspect who allegedly lit B.C. shopkeeper on fire, say he may be travelling to Alberta

Police have identified the suspect who allegedly lit a shopkeeper on fire in British Columbia and are warning the public that he may be travelling to Alberta.

According to authorities, the suspect has been identified as 42-year-old John Doe. He is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, dark pants, and a baseball cap.

The incident occurred on Tuesday evening at a convenience store in the city of Surrey. The victim, who has not been named, suffered serious burns and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. The motive for the attack is still under investigation.

Police have reason to believe that the suspect may be travelling to Alberta and are urging the public to be on the lookout. They are also warning that Doe should be considered armed and dangerous.
