A driver was injured in a rollover accident in Scarborough on Monday evening.
According to Toronto police, the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Lawrence Avenue East and Markham Road.
The driver, whose identity has not been released, was the sole occupant of the vehicle. They were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the rollover is still under investigation, but police say speed may have been a factor.
The intersection was closed for several hours as police conducted their investigation and cleared the scene.
