After much anticipation, it has been officially announced that Subject to Change, a popular restaurant in Vancouver, will be relocating to a new location on 1879 Powell Street in early October.
The decision to move was made by the owners, Chef Jefferson Alvarez and his partner, Chef David Gunawan, in order to expand their business and offer a more diverse dining experience to their loyal customers.
The new space, previously occupied by Kessel & March, will provide Subject to Change with a larger kitchen and dining area, allowing them to accommodate more guests and offer a wider range of menu options.
According to Chef Alvarez, the move is an exciting opportunity for the restaurant to grow and evolve. He states, “We are thrilled to have the chance to create a new space that reflects our vision and showcases our passion for food.”
The new location will also feature a bar area, where guests can enjoy a selection of handcrafted cocktails and local wines. In addition, there will be a private dining room available for special events and gatherings.
Subject to Change has gained a strong following since its opening in 2017, known for its innovative and ever-changing menu that highlights local and seasonal ingredients. The official opening date for the new location is yet to be announced, but it is expected to be in early October. In the meantime, the current location on 4245 Fraser Street will remain open for business.
