Leading the pack in the Brant County Secondary School Athletic Association (BCSSAA) standings is the St. John’s College Green Eagles. With a record of 8 wins and 1 loss, they have proven to be a dominant force in the league. Their only loss came at the hands of the North Park Collegiate Trojans, who currently sit in second place with a record of 7 wins and 2 losses.
In third place is the Assumption College Lions, with a record of 6 wins and 3 losses. They have had a strong season so far, with notable wins against both St. John’s College and North Park Collegiate.
The Brantford Collegiate Institute Mustangs and the Pauline Johnson Collegiate Thunderbirds are tied for fourth place, both with a record of 4 wins and 5 losses. Despite their lower rankings, both teams have shown determination and skill on the court.
Rounding out the standings are the Paris District High School Panthers and the Brantford Christian School Warriors, with records of 2 wins and 7 losses and 1 win and 8 losses, respectively. While they may not have as many wins as the top teams, these schools have put up a strong fight in each game.
