Attention all runners and walkers! The early bird pricing deadline for the upcoming Walk/Run event is quickly approaching. This Sunday, September 15th, is the last day to take advantage of the discounted registration fee.
The Walk/Run event, organized by the local community center, is set to take place on October 5th. Participants can choose between a 5km or 10km route, with all proceeds going towards supporting various community programs and initiatives.
Those who register before the early bird deadline will save $10 off the regular registration fee. This means that adults will only pay $25, while youth (under 18) and seniors (65+) will only pay $15. After the deadline, the registration fee will increase to $35 for adults and $25 for youth and seniors.
Not only will participants be supporting a great cause, but they will also receive a t-shirt and a finisher’s medal upon completing the event. In addition, there will be prizes for the top finishers in each category.
